Formotus mobile applications are built using Microsoft InfoPath, the dedicated Office program for forms creation. This means a wide selection of powerful InfoPath  features are available for use in Formotus custom applications, including:

• Standard form controls such as buttons,  text boxes, checkboxes, dropdown lists, date pickers, hyperlinks etc.
• Sophisticated layout options with tables, fonts, colors, pictures, etc.
• Repeating sections and tables that allow the user to add an unlimited number of items
• Rules that can navigate views, show or hide objects, set field values based on inputs, perform calculations, validate data, submit or query data, and more.
• Backend data connections to SharePoint or other systems using standard Web services.

• Email submit a print-optimized image and an XML data version of the competed form
• Query for online data and re-use it cached until a new query is requested

• Full form functionality (except query) in the absence of a data connection

• Log in credentials work offline (but need to be verified online occasionally)
• Multiple drafts of multiple forms can be opened, edited and saved locally on the device
• Completed forms submit to an outbox queue until connectivity returns
