What is SharePoint Online?

Microsoft Office SharePoint Online is a hosted service that provides SharePoint in the cloud. Microsoft handles the setup, provisioning, ongoing maintenance and upgrades of the SharePoint Server Infrastructure. You can customize the online SharePoint site yourself or get help from a Microsoft certified partner such as Formotus. 

You use the online version just like any other SharePoint site. The difference is that you pay a monthly subscription fee instead of paying for hardware and software and IT support.

How does Formotus work with SharePoint?

Formotus creates custom mobile business  forms for phones that connect directly to SharePoint data without using a browser. Mobile forms designed once work on many kinds of phones. These forms can pull information from SharePoint lists and submit to SharePoint all kinds of data collected in the field, including:

• An administrative account in the cloud where, if you want, you can:

*This package includes a custom form of moderate complexity, which is what most of our customers need. If you need instead two or three very simple forms, that can be arranged. If your project involves an incredibly complex multi-page form, then the cost may be higher.
